At Lifelong Learning Centres we love nothing more than having serious fun. Our play based learning approach means we make the most of every opportunity to get our hands dirty to show your children a great time while they learn. We want to share some of our favourite activities with you that we use to keep children in our centres entertained and inspired.
Today you’ll learn how to make sensory spaghetti.

What you’ll need
-
1 x pack spaghetti/pasta
-
Water
-
Food colouring
Method
-
Cook pasta as per instructions on the packet.

Separate spaghetti into bowls and include some of the water it was cooked in (one per colour)

Add 3 drops of each of the dyes into the different bowls
-
Stir until pasta is the desired colour

Strain and cool

Options for play
-
Place small amounts of different colours on high chair table
-
Place in a tub on the floor
-
Go big and put the pasta in a small blow up pool to sit, crawl and explore!
